Bachelorette Party

After the Bridal Luncheon (see below) my friends got together and planned a fabulous time for my bachelorette party. We first went to a pottery store in the mall and spent a couple of hours painting plates for us to use in our new home. They turned out so good! It was so much fun. My cousin Margaret and sister even stopped by to chat while we painted. What a great way to catch up!

Next, we headed to Pasta Trios in downtown Knoxville. We did this real Italian style...we spent around 2 hours there eating and talking! Elena, Nina, and Brooke met up with us there and we then went to Hannah's. I haven't been dancing in a long time and forgot how much of a work-out it really is :) It was great to see all of us out there busting a move! We stayed there for a few hours, but us old gals couldn't hang until closing time. We went back to Sarah's condo where we had a 3am snack of chocolate covered strawberries (yum yum) and a little lingerie surprise! I will reserve the real lingerie pictures for myself, but had to post the "gag" lingerie. It was hideous...thanks Sarah! Overall, it was one of the best weekends I've had in a very long time!! Thank you friends!

Bridal Luncheon

This past Saturday, my aunts and cousin hosted my Bridal Luncheon at Riverside Tavern. It was wonderful! Everything from the food, family, friends, to the gorgeous weather. But, the thing I loved and will remember the most about this great time was that all my family (minus a few) and friends (minus a few more) and even my new family, were all together in one place and not one conflict occured! Coming from a divorced family, this is a dream!! I really felt loved. Thank you to everyone who made this such a special day for me!

CANCUN here we come

As the time for our wedding draws closer, I thought I would post some pictures of our honeymoon destination: Cancun, Mexico. We will be staying at the Dreams Resort & Spa for 6 days!! The stress of school, moving, and job searching is having its toll on Clint and me. We are both looking forward to relaxing and reading by the beach. From everything we have read (you know I've done my research), it seems like a wonderful place. We can't wait!!!

Cutest Easter egg ever hatched!

It's taken a little while, but here are some pictures of our precious little niece. Joe and Lo sent us these and it makes us more anxious to see her in person!!Even if she wasn't in the family, we would still think she is the cutest!

One month away...

We are officially on the countdown. One month away from our wedding. Clint and I couldn't be more ready. I cannot believe how fast time has flown. The pressure really hit me this week and everyone seems to be amazed it hasn't before now. Today, I took my comprehensive exam and I feel pretty confident about it. Just glad that it's over really. Clint is also overloaded with school work. There was a time when I began to think that getting married after we graduated was a bad idea. But now, I cannot think of a better way to end one hectic school year! So, let the countdown begin, 28 more days to go...

Ryann IS HERE!!

We are now Aunt Missy and Uncle Clint!! On Friday at 12:08pm Ryann Madelyn Ingram was born weighing in at 7lbs 13oz. Clint and I are so excited!! Clint's sister Mandy gave birth in Memphis. As soon as we heard, we wanted to get in our car and make the 3.5 hour drive to see the sweet girl and her parents. But, I know (from watching the Baby Story and friend's personal experiences) that the first couple of weeks are the adjustment period and the last thing Mandy and Robert need are 2 more baby grabbers in their house! So now, we are just eagerly waiting for the right time to meet our precious niece! Pictures to follow.

My Church Wedding Shower 3/31/07

Well, this weekend was my last road trip until I go home again in 2 weeks! I went home to get my wedding dress fitted! This was the first time I had my dress and veil on and it makes it feel more real! I think if I hadn't kept mom talking, she would have started to cry :)

I also went to my friend Sarah's house and got to hang out with her that night. It was so nice to just sit down and talk with her like old times. It took me back to our apartment days. We had fun catching up and eating ice cream!! After that, we both were pooped. I had to get up that morning and get ready for my church wedding shower in Rockwood.

The shower was great! I was surprised by the turn out. So many ladies came and it was nice to have time to have conversations with them, instead of the quick greeting at church. Clint and I also received soooo many presents! This was our biggest haul by far ;) It didn't look like as many gfts as it did when I started opening all of them. People kept bringing more gifts by and it took awhile to finally unwrap all of them. We got some very nice things and my car barely made it back to Murfreesboro. It was so loaded down in the back!!

Even though I won't be traveling, these next two weeks won't be very relaxing. I have to write a huge graduate paper, while trying to study for my comprehensive exam which is on April 14th. Please say a little prayer. My whole graduate degree hangs on this 3 hour test...yikes! But, Clint and I have talked about going to the drive-in this weekend. So, that will be a nice study break!
