Brooke (bridesmaid), Ben(groomsmen), and Clint Joey(Groomsmen) and Clint
My sister Jessica, aka J.Leigh (Maid of Honor)
Clint's father Joe (Best Man)

Well, because I am procrastinating writing my 2nd to last paper EVER in graduate school, I thought I would post some wedding details. I have posted some pictures of the wedding party. I am still searching for pictures of my cousins Sarah and Annie. I have a million of them, but I guess my family gives them to me. Also, I have posted a picture of the bridesmaid's dress, Jr. bridesmaid's dress and the flower girl's dress. I let Sarah and Annie pick their dresses out. They LOVE them and cannot wait to wear them. I'm not posting a picture of my wedding dress b/c I don't want Clint to see it. Sorry, you'll just have to wait for the real thing :)

This is similar to the cake we picked out. It will only be 3 layers with ivory icing. We will have pink ribbon at the bottom and pink flowers only at the top. KatieKakes in Maryville is baking out cake. Her cakes are sooo delicious! All these months of watching my weight...I cannot wait to eat this!! And I will be eating some of it, even if we have to take it with us :)

Timothy is growing up!

My sweet little Timothy is growing so fast! Clint and I went to visit he and his mother (my best friends since Kindergarten) at Christmas. Already, he is beginning to talk and is running all over the place. This time, Rachel and I took him to the park for about an hour. He had me running all over the place. Until that point, I would have told you I was in shape. I am now re-thinking that :) Boy, was I tired. When I left their house I immediately called Clint to confirm that we weren't going to have kids anytime soon. Right now I'm just enjoying being "Aunt Missy."

Life in the Acura

Ahhh, the joys of life on the road. I have been keeping the roads hot back and forth from Murfreesboro to Maryville, to Rockwood to Kingsport and back again! I don't even want to think of how many miles I'm putting on my baby. If any of you know me, then you know I don't live out of my car well. I cannot stand for trash to be in my car for any length of time. I hate a cluttered car. So, this has been a real challenge for me.
This weekend I will be traveling to Jackson to visit my dad and grandmother. One last time as a Bond ;) Luckily, my dad is going to rotate my tires and get me new ones is needed. That will help me out in my last two months of continuous travel. Clint works on Fridays so he won't be coming with me on anymore weekend adventures. I cannot wait until life settles down. But, does it really ever?!? I'm just looking forward to being married, having a job, and knowing where we will live. Until then, it's just me and the Acura...on the road again!

Bridal Shower

This weekend I went to my Bridal Shower given by Lindsey, her mom, and her grandmother. It was sooo beautiful! It was planned out so well and I had so much fun. I was so happy that all my family could make it and that Clint's mother and grandmother could come too! This was the first time they had met each other. Catching up with friends I haven't seen in awhile is one of my favorite things to do. I think a good time was had by all. We got a haul of gifts. Each time I open one I think, "Oh, I really wanted this, I'm so glad we got it." We are so blessed to be loved this much.

I think Clint was just happy that he didn't have to come and open all of them. He was really great about trying to get as excited as he could when I came back and showed him what all we got. He's so cute ;)

Our first Wedding Shower 3/4/07

We just had our first wedding shower this past Sunday. It was at Clint's home church in Kingsport. Boy, do these ladies know how to give a shower. Everything was gorgeous and the food was great. Everyone was so sweet and made me feel very welcome! We received so many gifts...it was a little overwhelming to us (but in a good way, of course). Clint was the only guy at the shower, so he was feeling a bit out-numbered. He was a good sport though, and I think it made it all worth it when we unwrapped our tent and camping gear! ;)

Engagment Pictures

Just a few of our engagement pictures taken by Clint's sister Brooke.

Engagment!

Clint asked me to marry him on October 17th! I was completely surprised. He got me the Serta sheep stuffed animal I had been wanting. Under the collar he place my GORGEOUS ring, which I absolutely am in love with! It was one of the best days ever!

Just the Beginning

Well, after Lindsey introduced me to this site and promised she would visit it, I decided to make a few postings. I told her nothing really big was happening in my life that anyone would be interested in reading. She quickly reminded me that I was getting married. So, I guess along with that comes news updates.
Wedding plans are coming right along. It really hasn't been as stressful as some people make it out to be. However, I have wonderful friends and family who have really helped me with everything. My mom has been great and my future in-laws have been MORE than helpful. I'm so blessed to have them! It's not every girl that can say she truly adores her in-laws...but, I do! Clint has been pretty amazing with all this too. If it were up to him we would have went to the court-house long ago ;) But, he supports my dream of getting married in my church with all my friends and family. He has offered to help with anything I need. Although, I am enjoying every minute of this planning, so I haven't been able to give up anything to him yet!
I only have one class this semester. This is the lightest class load I've had in the past 6 years. If it were not for work, wedding planning and job searching, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I can't believe this is going to be the end. I know some of you might think I'm crazy, but I'm gonna miss school. Don't get me wrong, I delight in the idea of going home and not having homework. But, I'm a dork and love class. I know, I'm weird! Who knows? There is always that doctorate left to attain!!
We are still praying about our future. I have sent out, it seems like, 50 million resumes. I haven't heard from any of them. It's still early, but it makes me nervous. However, Clint landed a part-time job at a marketing research company in Nashville. He loves it. Last week he was pretty much promised a full-time position when he graduates in May. What a blessing!! It just reassures me that God is in control of our lives and no amount of worrying on my part is going to change His plan. Clint keeps reminding me that I have my Teaching License in my back pocket and can use it if I have to. Let me tell you, it's going to have to be the last resort before I use that puppy!! :)
