It Won't Be Long

Anna Ruth has discovered that her crib also doubles as a rock climbing wall. Lately, when I put her down for a nap, I watch her in the monitor try her best to pull herself up for a few minutes before letting sleep win the battle.

Here is one of the first times I noticed her pulling up:

And, even though she can't crawl in a forward motion, she is getting good at backwards and perfecting the "roll" to get her around. I sat her down on the floor in the middle of her room the other day to hang up some clothes in her closet. I hung up 2 shirts and looked over to see her sticking out under the crib. This girl has places to go and she wants to get there in a hurry!
