Happy Birthday Bridget!

June 1st=My best friend's birthday

Friday is Bridgy's birthday and she is going to be an old lady!!! Not really, only the big 2-5. Bridget and I met each other my Freshman year in ADPi. Our love for watching movies, singing obnoxiously loud and off key, American Idol (thanks to me), Miss America (thanks to her), Nicholas Sparks books, among other things, will keep us friends forever. We met our other roommate and best friend,Sarah (who will get the tribute on her b-day) the same year and moved in together. We shared many hilarious times during the two and a half years we lived together. Bridget has always been the friend that I feel I can be my silliest with. She brings out the best in everyone she is around! I thank God everyday for bringing the wonderful friends I have into my life, but today, especially, I want to thank him for my Bridget!! Love you Homie B :)

The Wedding is over,but...

...the best is yet to come!
I got asked the question before the wedding, "Are you going to feel like Christmas is over once the wedding is over?" I answered with the appropriate response, "Of course not!" I know what they were asking. Initially, during the Honeymoon, we both felt like we had built this one day up so much and it was over so fast. (I highly recommend a wedding video! If it wasn't for this one DVD and pictures, I wouldn't know half of what went on at our wedding.) But really, once we were home and settled, I haven't felt like I wanted to go back and re-live the moment or anything like that. Truthfully, Clint and I were just looking forward to being married. Yes, the wedding was wonderful with all our family and friends, but in the end, the result was what we were seeking! Living together has been an adjustment, but I couldn't imagine 'adjusting' with anyone else :)

I got the JOB!!

Yesterday, I got a call from Austin Peay checking my references. (I interviewed with them 2 days before graduation.) Today, I got another call from them officially extending me the offer. Of course, I accepted! So, as of July 2nd, I will be the new Assistant Director of Programming and Service at Austin Peay in Clarksville. Clint and I will begin the search for a place to live there in our spare time! I am nervous, but very excited about this new phase in our lives. God truly answers prayers!

Graduation~May 5th

I thought I would post a few pictures from our graduation. This event got a little overshadowed by our wedding, but it still was a very important time in our lives. So, I wanted to share some of these with everyone. Clint and I are both working part time jobs at the moment until we find full-time work. Clint is still at 20/20 Research and I am starting in the admissions office at MTSU tomorrow. The thought of not having full-time jobs is, at times, stressing both of us out. However, we are very thankful that we have some sort of income :) We know that so many others don't even have that. We know God will provide.

Honeymoon in Cancun

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Cancun. After the wedding, we drove to Nashville and stayed in the Marriott. We had an amazing room there and didn't want to leave! But, the thought of the Cancun beach allowed us to get up at 5:30am to catch our flight. We finally arrived at Dreams Resort and Spa around 3ish. What a paradise!! We only left the resort twice. Once, to browse the local flea market and another time to eat at a restaurant beside the resort. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had an excellent stay. Most of the days were spent relaxing by the beach reading and EATING!! Our 2 favorite experiences were swimming with the dolphins (my childhood dream, made possible by Clint's parents), and our couples massage! It was a week of well needed R&R!!

It's Official

We are MARRIED!! Finally we can say we are husband and wife. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. It was everything I had always dreamed of and the very best part was that I got to leave that afternoon with a wonderful guy. We had a great time in Cancun, couldn't have asked for better weather and the ocean view was extremely breathtaking. Pictures of the trip posted later. Sweet Fiance!

Just wanted to post a picture of what I got yesterday at work! Clint sent these to me and I was completely surprised. The card said he could not wait until May 12th! He always knows what to do to make my day. I'm a lucky girl!!
